Empowered by continual adventures, Karen’s story and career has had many twists and turns, which is exactly why she’s the perfect reinvention thought partner. She brings sage counsel and emboldens entrepreneurial leaders to have more confidence, freedom, and love in their businesses and lives.
- She founded her first retail business at 18 in the UK
- She learned the art of persuasion as a door-to-door salesperson and crew leader in Germany.
- She lived and worked in Europe and the Caribbean.
- She became an award-winning national sales manager in New York City.
- She established and sold a successful design business in San Diego.
- She co-founded a company that developed a patented storage product. She guided its consistent profitability over five years.
- She helped build schools and libraries in India.
- She got up. She fell down. She got up again.
The real integration of her experience was when she became a certified coach and subsequently mentored and trained other coaches in that program. Since 2007, she’s been coaching entrepreneurs and their teams and also served as leader and facilitator for a CEO Leadership Organization, Vistage International, and is an expert speaker for them. Always searching for excellence, she completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education Certificate Program. During the lockdown, she added the Clifton Strengths certification to her toolbox and more recently trained as a Positive Intelligence® Coach.
The pandemic enabled Karen to take on another reinvention while serving global clients virtually; A long-held dream to live and work on both sides of the pond and embrace her gypsy spirit, she recently sold everything to live nomadically for a while so that she can reconnect with family and her country of origin. She is in Southern California until spring and will return to the UK soon.
